Two Posts One Day

 So anyway here's another post. I wanted to keep this separate from the week of productivity because this was more recent. As you may be aware, my lovely friend SIMPSOMINIATURES and GOOBINSGITZ created this game called WANTED! REWARD CC10K with lots of promotion and extra conent being made by my other sweet friend NILENELLIE. There's a whole community of wonderful folks clamoring over this silly game and I'm one of them! I have no clue how to play it. 

Regardless, they released the beta for this game and I couldn't help but sculpt a bounty hunter for it.

I sculpted this guy before the bounty hunter. He kind of bums me out and makes me think about physical disability which makes me feel deeply guilty. I made him based on some description of Fomorians suggesting they have 1 arm, 1 leg, and 1 eye. Anyway it's a well realized sculpt, but like I said it bums me out for the aforementioned reasons. I think about how difficult it would be to do the things I love to do while missing a limb quite often!

ANYWAY 

In WRCC10k there's these groups called Septs. Basically bounty hunters that join together for a similar cause. They get certain stat boosts, whatever. Back when the game first came out I planned to make a Sept called the Slugtrail Sept, with emphasis on them being stealthy and fast movers when prone. I'm a fan of Metal Gear Solid so that's where the inspiration came from. Well, that was a while ago but I still wanted to make a sculpt inspired by the Slugtrail Sept so I made a shanil bounty hunter! And there he is! Ok bye!

Oh one more thing! I will be going to Adepticon! I'm going to try to cast up some mischievous men to hand out but I make no promises!

A week of productivity

 Ah that fleeting thing... productivity! The hardest part is getting started I fear...

I've lamented that fact enough on this blog, you know my struggles by now haha. So, anyway a week or so back I got a fire lti under me and I made a bunch of stuff. Had a blast doing it too. I think just having one small thing to putter around on is enough to really get the momentum going, I really think it's important. Making shields seems to work.

Snails, or shnails (think I stole that from KC Green's character sorry...) are another really satisfying thing that doesn't take too much effort or mental strain to crank out. I've got two (2) that are being produced in pewter thanks to my wonderful angel of a friend GOOBINS GITZ . They will be made available as soon as production is done on the Dopes as they're being made at the same time. I like to sculpt faces for my shnails shells. I just like sculpting faces. I guess if you wanted them to be something other than snails you could snip off the cute little snail faces and modify them.

Lastly, I sculpted another man faced squig. I don't know what it is about these guys, I find them just very very endearing. This guy was a challenge I set for myself to sculpt a face completely upside without inverting the sculpt. Ain't he a sweetie? 

As it turns out these are from the last week of February, so actually not that recent. Maybe I have adhd or something, I can't keep track of time! Oh well!

all my sculpts I'd like to get produced in metal... yes, even HE is there
